What is SiteState?

SiteState lets you do reality capture with a phone, and see site plans inside your captures. It helps you tell if your site is being built right.

Reality capture with just a phone?

Just a phone – no cameras on hard hats, no tripod devices. SiteState currently supports capturing sites with iPhone Pro and iPad Pro; SiteState can be viewed on any device.

What does it capture? How long does it take?

SiteState lets you do both physical capture (where solid objects are) and visual capture (photoreal + inspectable). Physical-only is 400 sqft/min; hotspot visual is 200 sqft/min; full-coverage visual is 100 sqft/min.

Who can capture? Does it require training?

Supers, PMs, assistants, and subcontractors can all capture. No training required. Site crew don’t even need a login to capture; just text them a link or tape up a QR code.

What kind of plans can I see inside my captures?

SiteState lets you see PDF plans and imported 3D files in your captures. We’re working on direct import from Revit/BIM and from mapping tools.

Is SiteState for the site or for the office?

Both. SiteState lets your office see what’s being built onsite, and lets your site crew send the office visually-flagged issues or regular field reports.
